Description

This is one of the last oil paintings I did in art school ( well, one the last good ones anyways) The actual size is about 36 by 18 inches. I couldn't begin to guess at the time put into this, but there was alot of coffee involved...

The perspective in this is just way cool. On my monitor, the image doesn't all fit so I only saw the top half first. When I scroll down it actually looks like the perspective changes like I'm really looking down. Thanks for the vertigo! (+5)

marry poppins! very lovely render and viewpoint
I agree with bluemuse, this work stands out from the common airbrush realistic fantasy ladies artworks...

very very very nice! i agree, it does stand out! this certainly deserves some recognition. as much as i love the beautiful ladies in fantasy settings, this site contains plenty of that... but this is really just great in concept and design. i'm sure it would have taken you a very long time. you do you find references for all of the people and positions? certainly you didn't make them up?

actually dregaus, this is pretty much all out of my head for the simple reason that it was too much work to try and find references for everything. As I recall, I looked up pigeons, because I couldn't think of any interesting pigeon patterns, and also I think one of those cars might be referenced from a photo...Of course, now that I look at it, I see all these little things that bug me which wouldn't have been an issue had I actually used reference. So children, let that be a lesson to all of you: USE REFERENCE!!!
